Hito Steyerl delivers 2023 Christensen Lecture

Steyerl talked about works disrupted, updated, stalled between 2020 and now by various circumstances

This year's Christensen Distinguished Lecture Series in the Department of Art & Art History was presented by Hito Steyerl on February 2nd, 2023.

Steyerl presented a talk titled "Failed works. Pandemia, energy crisis, inflation, war, 2020-." discussing works disrupted, updated, stalled between 2020 and now by various circumstances.

Graduate students had a further opportunity to talk to Steyerl during a roundtable event the following day, on February 3rd, when she presented on her work with and around image generation machine learning tools.
